Biography
SolaceWeb was founded in 2008 by myself, Philip Sharp as a result of family members and friends wanting to create their own web presence but were unable to contemplate paying the £0,000‘s being asked by developers / designers. I decided to ‘DIM’.
I started my working life with a small firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds and as a bold adventurous newly qualified I set off to see the world ~ I returned to UK after achieving many of my personal goals, to be closer to my grown up children and their families.
Overseas, I worked mainly in the accounting profession and had clients in just about every business sector you can imagine. For four years I worked for a Middle Eastern oil company as their senior business analyst helping them in achieving their goal of becoming a performance driven enterprise.
After the Middle East, I lived in France for 6 years and with the help of Alliance Française and my French ‘épouse‘ became fluent in French. Now back in UK I am putting my experiences and expertise to good use in the field of web design.
As you can see from the map we are based in the heart of Dorset where the beautiful countryside provides inspiration for our work.
